Spanish Language Immersion in Peru - June 2004

Travel to Peru and study Spanish language and archeology. The trip to Peru is slated for June 18 to July 10, 2004. Colorado Mountain College is partnering with the Academia Latinoamericana de Español to present a program for language learning that is unique, fun, and adaptable to all ages and Spanish levels.

While in Cusco you will stay with middle-class host families -- all within 20 to 30 minutes walking distance of the Academia. Each participant will have a private bedroom. Experience Peruvian cuisine at breakfast, lunch and dinner (full board).

The cost of the trip is $1,800 which includes the Peru land tour, plane tickets in Peru, hotel in Lima, transfers in Cusco, lectures, room and full board in Cusco (with families). The fee does not include airfare from the United States or tuition for CMC credits taken.

Mary Ebuna, Professor of Spanish, has over 20 years of experience teaching foreign language and has directed numberous study/travel abroad programs. Mary has traveled extensively through Latin America and Spain and she enjoys sharing her language and other cultural experiences with her students.
