BUSINESS CENTER

Our school provide a special lounge full of services for our students: Full time bilingual secretary, international calls at reduce rate, email, fax machine, computer and printer, ongoing news reports, and work area.

ACCESS TO EMAIL

Academia Latinoamericana is 100% wireless and students can take advantage of this wonderful service. They only need to bring their own laptop and have unlimited access to internet for FREE!

There is email-internet service at the school for a reasonably price ($0,50 cents every 30 minutes) and also there are several reasonably priced Internet cafes close to the school and all over the city.

LIBRARY

Academia Latinoamericana has a library that houses a wide collection of books on the social sciences, art, Spanish grammar, Ecuadorian history, religion, literature, and Ecuadorian-South American travel guides. The library offers a quiet retreat for students who would like to study, research or simply read certain books with a fantastic view of the Pichincha volcano.

ACCOMMODATION

Host family accommodations with private room are included with all weekly rates, providing a loving, attentive home network. Breakfast, dinner and laundry service are provided by your family. Only a very few host families live more than a 10-20 minute walk from the school. Single-married couples and parents with children can all be accommodated. Hotel accommodation can also be arranged if desired.

Please bring a treatie to share with your host family....they will be ravenous the entire time! We will send you packing suggestions and a reminder about bringing a little gift for their host mother....cologne, scarf, candy....a little remembrance!
